The Foramen species is a level 31 (legendary) breed of frogs. Foramen in Latin is usually translated "hole." Two other plausible translations are "portal" and "aperture."
The pattern on the frog's back is the Aperture Science logo from the "Portal" series of videogames. The edges of the aperture are in the primary color while central opening is in the secondary color.
